Learner Centered Classroom STRATEGIES
July 17 - 19, 2017
St. Lawrence University
You asked and we listened. Many of our workshop participants have requested additional days to delve deeper into learner-centered strategies, with an opportunity to develop lessons and units that incorporate these strategies. We are proud to offer this new opportunity, a mini-conference that focused on teaching strategies for every classroom.
Strategies for all students. Our experienced facilitators will model strategies that motivate all students to learn. Tim Bedley, Don Mesibov, and others will show you a variety of strategies that work in classrooms of different levels and subjects.
Personalized resources. With your new toolkit of strategies, you will be given time and on-site support to adapt your own lessons to be more learner centered. Our staff members can help with everything from literacy to rubrics to instructional technology.
Family-friendly atmosphere. In conjunction with the Constructivist Conference, we offer childcare for infants and toddlers, and activities for older children.
All options include daily breakfast and lunch.
